Policy Conditions & Notes
You can avail loan on your policy after 3 years.
You can surrender the policy after 3 years.
No bonus will be paid if the policy is surrendered before 5 years.
Proportionate bonus with reduced sum assured is paid if the policy is surrendered after 5 years.
In case of the death of policyholder during the term, sum assured with accrued bonus will be paid to the assignee, nominee or legal heir.
In the first 5 years of term, policy will be treated as Gram Suraksha (Whole Life Assurance). After completion of 5 years, the policy can be converted to Gram Santosh (Endowment Assurance), but no later than 6 years. If the policy is not converted then policy will be treated as Gram Suraksha (Whole Life Assurance) with fixed premium ceasing date as 60 years. If the policy is converted then it will be treated as Gram Santosh (Endowment Assurance) for the rest of the term with specific premium rates and maturity ages conditions.
Last declared bonus rate: ₹60 per ₹1000 sum assured per year for the term of Gram Suraksha (Whole Life Assurance) and ₹48 per ₹1000 sum assured per year for the term of Gram Santosh (Endowment Assurance).
